Kiyomizu-dera Path
Kyoto, Japan
The gardens around Kiyomizu-dera were wonderful to explore in the rain on this day. I need to be honest with you though. On our trip to Nepal, Steve coined the phrase 'drunk camera' to describe a handheld point & shoot style camera. We used his camera in a lot of situations where we didn't want to bring out the big guns. For the Japan trip I purchased a Sony RX100-M3 and this image was captured on that camera. It has a great lens, features that allow me to put it into manual modes and produces RAW formatted files. This image is really sharp and if needed to print, going large would not be an issue. Thank you Steve for the idea of carrying a drunk camera.
